I am a neuroradiologist at the National Hospital of Neurology and Neurosurgery in London as well as an honorary senior lecturer at the University College London. My academic affiliation with the Institute of Neurology at the University College London enables me to have broad access and collaborations with scientists in clinical and basic research in neuroimaging as well as to contribute to the translation of neuroscience discovery research into treatments for patients with neurological diseases.
I am also a professor of radiology and affiliated research partner at the Department of Neuroradiology at Eberhard Karls University in Germany and hold an MSc. degree in “Advanced Oncology” from the University of Ulm in Germany, where I lecture on neurooncology imaging.
I am clinically involved and academically active in MR-PET imaging, in intraoperative MR imaging and ultra-high-field brain MR spectroscopy as well as metabolic MR imaging. My clinical and basic science research achievements are documented in 101 papers. My h-index is 21 (Sum of times cited: 1120).
I am also a Fellow of the European Society of Head and Neck Radiology (FESHNR) and active in other European radiological and neuroradiological organisations. I have been awarded multiple awards, am an editor of several medical journals, and a PhD supervisor.

I would recommend without hesitation, My report was extremely comprehensive and detailed , the most detailed I’ve ever read, included pictures making it so easy to read . Other reports I’d had were so basic in comparison. I can not recommend highly enough.

There were mild, but concerning if true, findings on a MRI of my brain. Dr. Bisdas very specifically explained why the MRI. He assured me that the results were not diagnostic of the condition suggested by the local doctor. Unless there are other symptoms, there is no reason for further testing. No one close to me can see any problems, so it is a real relief.

I submitted an MRI of neck and orbits for second opinion radiology reading, and the report I received back from Dr. Sotirios Bisdas was much more detailed and informative than the report which came back originally from the facility where I had the scan done.
