I am a paediatric specialist focused on the respiratory system. I treat all respiratory conditions in childhood, paediatric allergy, paediatric asthma, cough syndromes, and cystic fibrosis. Currently, I am the head of the paediatric respiratory clinic at the Wilhelminenspital in Vienna. I am also the deputy head of the Working Group on Paediatric Pneumology of the Austrian Society of Pneumology (ÖGP), General Secretary of the Austrian Council on Smoking and Health, the Secretary of the European Respiratory Society, and a Privat Dozent (Associate Professor) at the Medical University of Vienna.
I am an active researcher focusing on Respiratory Medicine, Allergology and Pulmonology. Current projects include “Induced sputum and cystic fibrosis”, cough and wheeze monitoring in respiratory diseases and research into the effects of tobacco exposure on health outcomes in children.
